Adult Education and Literacy

Hawkeye Community College’s Adult Education and Literacy Program offers High School Completion (formerly known as GED), English Language Learning, and Integrated Education and Training (IET) classes. Students who are enrolled in these programs will also have the opportunity to take U.S. Citizenship and Family Literacy classes, as well as to receive support services in transitioning to further education and training and being connected with our community partners and resources. These classes are designed to help you meet your education, life, and work goals as students, workers, parents, and community members.
